The Feast of Firstfruits (Bikkurim)
occurs on the third day after Passover and the second day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. It honors the first harvest of the season and prophetically speaks to Yeshua’s resurrection as the “firstfruits” of those who have died.
Preparation Timeline:
1. Two weeks before the Feast:
- Plan a special meal that includes first fruits, like barley, wheat, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates.
2. A few days before the Feast:
- Purchase fresh ingredients for your meal.
3. Day before the Feast:
- Prepare parts of your meal in advance if possible.
During the Feast of Firstfruits:
This feast is marked by giving thanks for the provision of the first harvest, as well as recognizing the resurrection of Yeshua. Begin the day with prayer, reading scriptures related to firstfruits, and reflections on the theme of resurrection.

Engage in Bible study, prayer, and reflection during this feast. This is a good time to discuss the significance of Yeshua being the firstfruits of the resurrection.
